SPID is a theatre company based out of Grade 2 Listed Kensal House, and occupies the ground floor community space. As a company it has a strong community focus, with many of the plays produced and taking place there centred around social issues, and performed by local young people.

The building is in a serious state of neglect, and SPID are in the process of putting in an application for funding to renovate and improve the existing space.

Geraldine is on the board of directors for SPID theatre, and in her position as tutor at DMU, ran a summer school to teach visiting students to survey the building. These surveys then formed the basis for a feasibility study done by Sam Causer Architects.
