This installation was designed through collaboration with the Turner prize nominated artist Goshka Macuga for the Sao Paolo Bienale in Brazil, 2006.
Working within the exhibition building designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the pavillion was an absurd modernist folly, referencing the clean lines and architectural modernist gestures and motifs that have come to stand for a utopian socialist dream.
