Geraldine Dening is a qualified architect, having studied at Cambridge then the Bartlett, and has worked both in the UK and internationally. In Australia she was involved with the design of an aboriginal healthcare centre in Kununurra, Western australia; In Cairo with Metaphor on the Grand Museum of Egypt ; In Kuwait with Freestate for Wataniya; In London with award winning Adam Richards Architects on domestic and retail projects and competitions, with Meadowcroft Griffin Architects on a new build Primary school in Hackney, and Robert Dye Associates.

She currently teaches a design studio at DMU in leicester, ran a first year design studio for 2 years at London Metropolitan University and ran a summer school unit at the AA. She is a regular critic at the Bartlett, the AA, and Nottingham Univeristies.

She has worked with Reclaim the Beach, Intersection magazine, Useless, Tank magazine and the Taiwanese magazine IW, for whom she wrote a series of articles on Dutch architecture and practice in 2006.

The refurbishment she designed for the offices of Tank magazine, London, is the cover story for the October 2008 edition of Onoffice Magazine.

Geraldine presented at the Petcha Kutcha at the Royal Festival Hall with the Hayward in July 2008.
